Gordon Farrell (Executive Producer) is a playwright, screenwriter, and video game designer. He has directed theatre in San Francisco and New York, holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama, and has been on the faculty of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts for almost 20 years. Plays he has written have been presented at Primary Stages and the 13th Street Repertory Theater in New York, the Yale School of Drama, Tour de Force and William Shakespeare & Friends in San Francisco, and The Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo. Recently he directed the opera, "Julius Caesar," for Opera Manhattan Theater. He was also on the team that created the Empire Earth video game franchise and is lead writer of the new MMO, "Dawn of Fantasy." He is well-known on the lounge scene in New York City.
Sarah Hayes (Music Director) has been at the forefront of the New York jazz scene for the past 6 years. She has performed around the country and internationally for Jazz festivals, Corporate events, Casinos and Resorts as well as regular engagements for NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg . She appears regularly in several of New York's premier clubs with her septet, Swing Society as well as her trio & quartet. She is the newest member of the legendary "Artie Shaw Orchestra."
Arielle Parkas
(Resident Director/Dramaturg)has been working with Red Productions since 2009.
She was dramaturg for "In The Red Room", directed a staged reading of "Prying",
served first as dramaturg and is now co-director of "Threshold." She is
co-founder of the public health based arts program "Positive Health Theater
Experience", and facilitates theater workshops at Bedford Hills Correctional
Facility. She works with VIBE Theater Experience creating new theater with
teenage girls, and has launched Tent Peg Theater, a company committed to making
performance art from recycled, re-purposed, and re-imagined materials.
Tatiana Gelfand (Visiting Director/ Casting Associate) trained in the theater under the internationally celebrated Carlo Magaletti, serving as assistant director on his "Wunder[bar]" in Munich, Germany, and the Off-Broadway play "Let's Speak Tango!" In film, she received her first directing credit in 2009 on the James Brown-Orleans short film "Drawback." For Red Productions she co-directed "In The Red Room" and "Threshold," and is collaborating on the development of a new play, "Lovers And Other Liars."
